Substitution/Return Policy

Fresh Flowers

At Cape Coral Floral Designs we are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers/containers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. In single-variety arrangements the variety will take precedence over color. For instance, if an order is for yellow daisies, they will substitute another color of daisies, not another yellow flower. White roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other as well as peach roses and pink roses. Purple and pink orchids may need to be substituted for white orchids and visa versa.

Non-Perishable Gift Items

If you are not satisfied with a non-perishable gift item for any reason, you may return it to our shop for an exchange of equal value or a refund within 7 days of the purchase date on your receipt. (Must provide your receipt) If there was a delivery made, the delivery fee will be excluded in the refund. If you are not able to bring the items in we may be able to retrieve them for an additional delivery fee.   

All Items must be returned to the store in order to receive a refund.

Balloons

Some hospitals do not allow latex balloons with an arrangement. Mylar balloons may need to be substituted for latex balloons on some orders.

Plants

For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but may substitute with another color. Containers for plants will be as close as possible.  If you are not happy with the plant that you purchased due to issues that were out of your control then you may return it to our shop for an exchange of equal value or a refund within 7 days of the purchase date on your receipt.

Gift Baskets

Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.

Substitutions for Special Occasions

Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery, if the flowers you requested are not available, and we are not able to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address you provided we will substitute to the closest flowers/color that are available.

Refunds

Refunds or exchanges are given when there is no other alternative. In order to receive a refund we will need the purchased items in its entirety to be returned for a refund, such as the flower arrangement, balloons, plants, etc. Refunds/exchanges must be made within 3 days of purchase/delivery. (Must provide your receipt) Perishable items such as Fruit and any kind of edible items cannot be returned.  If there was a delivery made, the delivery fee will be excluded from the refund. If you are not able to bring the items in we may be able to retrieve them for an additional delivery fee. 

If the order was delivered to the wrong address given by the customer, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase. If the customer still wants the delivery to be made to the correct address then they will have to complete a new order.

 All Items must be returned to the store in order to receive a refund.

If the customer is unreachable by phone and/or email, unable, or unwilling to take pick-up/delivery of the items after 3 days of the initial date despite Cape Coral Floral Designs effort to inform the customer, then Cape Coral Floral Designs has the right to dispose of the items ordered and no refund/store credit will be given. 

 

Custom Orders

Full payment is required for custom orders.  All Custom made orders or custom flower orders are non refundable. A 'Custom Order' is defined as any product that is made-to-order, or any product that was not in-stock and readily available at the time of purchase. Custom orders are deemed Final Sale and are not able to be returned or refunded.

Once production has commenced all costs of production have been incurred therefore a cancellation is no longer possible, and the custom order cannot be refunded. If a custom order is placed in advance, the customer has the right to cancel the order if it is canceled at least 2 weeks prior to pick-up/delivery date for a full refund or deposit. (excluding weddings/large custom orders)

Once a custom order has been submitted there are no guarantees that they are able to be modified. Charges may apply to approve any production modifications.

Your credit card will be automatically charged for outstanding payments according to our Store Policy, including but not limited to overdue invoices and additional charges.
